A stand-up job!
So Kylee and I are out in the car waiting for Bobby to change his clothes for work and for Tyler to go to the bathroom. We'd been waiting about 5 min. when Tyler ran outside, with no clothing on his bottom half, and yelled, "mom! I peed standing up!" I busted up laughing and took him back inside to figure out what was going on since we haven't yet approached the correct method of going to the bathroom yet. Apparantley the story goes something like this:
Earlier this morning when we were at Costco Bobby took Tyler to the bathroom and said, "buddy we've got to teach you to pee standing up pretty soon. That's how the big boys do it." And that was all the encouragement Tyler needed to take this task on solo. I guess when they went in the house bobby told Tyler to go to the bathroom and the next thing he new Tyler had come running in telling him-with a great deal of excitement-that he had peed standing up cause he was a big boy!
Sure enough he's been doing it all day! I've been tossing a couple fruit loops in to help his "aim" which has won me the coolest mom EVER award via Tyler. And it's gettin' the job done so it's really a win-win. ha ha. gotta love having boys.

I was afraid you were going to say that he peed somewhere OTHER than the toilet! Good for Tyler! He is growing up so fast! Shooting at targets is always more fun.

I also thought that he had peed standing up, but it was in the laundry room or somewhere random! I'll have to remember the fruit loop trick! ;)
