Parade of Homes
So this past weekend Tyler and I made the trek down to St. George for the first time by ourselves. Unfortunately Bobby couldn't come because he had A LOT of homework to catch up on so he wasn't able to celebrate Tyler's birthday with us (Sun. Feb. 17) :( . The main reason we went down was for Alisa's baby shower and for the parade of homes. (Pictures of birthday and baby shower to come...)
Every year St. George has what's called the Parade of Homes over Pres. day weekend, where about 26 GORGEOUS houses that have sold or are for sale are open for the public to view. They are fully furnished and decorated with everything from casitas, to home gyms, to theaters, to bowling alleys. They are incredible and I found myself wishing I was very, very, very rich!!! :) We got to see 13 of the 26 houses during the time I was there (Fri-Tues), and here are some pictures. My camera battery died before we saw the majority of the houses so these are just from the first 2 or 3. If you can blow any of these up to see more detail, do!
House #1
Pool
Spa that trickles down into the pool
Back patio seating area next to the pool-complete with couches, fireplace, bbq pit, flat screen TV, etc.
Outside dining table
Home gym-this was my favorite room in this house, it was SO COOL! And of course, off to the side was a sauna! (not pictured)
Three sides of the room had floor-to-ceiling mirrors-talk about motivation to work out!
The one wall that wasn't mirrors
The Ferrari that comes with the house!
A small section of the garage
House #2-this one was 21,000 sq. feet so there are LOTS of pics. Also, this house was purchased before it was built so everything in it is 100% custom designed (approx. $4,000,000)

And here's where my camera died so no more pics, but I think you get the idea!
