July 4th Funtivities
Well we started out the day at the Provo Freedom Festivial which ended up being not such a great idea. Bobby, Tyler and I met our best friends Jana and Adam and their 2 kids (Janey-2 and Michael-6 weeks)at the festivial around noon, after they had spent all morning at the parade-which Bobby and I did not go to b/c the least amount of sun for my albino baby, the better. The festival had lots of good food (I LOVE funnel cakes!!!) music, rides, etc.; but when you mix 3 young kids, 100 degree weather, 4 tired parents and a park FULL of people it just doesn't feel very festive! So after about 2 hours we decided to all go home and take naps, but before we left I did capture this cute picture of Tyler and Michael.
After only a 1/2 hour nap Tyler was boasting with energy so we stuck him in his play thingy to get some of it out. (yes it is on top of our kitchen counter, but don't worry it's a very large counter and we were standing right next to it!:) )
After naps Jana was so sweet and invited us to go over to her parents house in Lehi where her whole family was meeting for a BBQ and fireworks. Since neither Bobby nor I have family close by it was fun to be with a big family on this fun holiday, but it made me miss mine-love yall!
Just Chillin' after eatin' Ribs and burgers
Tyler crashed on Daddy for a short snooze (actually it was the only nap he got that afternoon and still stayed awake till MIDNIGHT when we finally got home and put him to bed. And he was soooo good all night, just soakin' it all in-he didn't fuse once the whole evening, he is such a good baby!!!)
The kids doing sparklers
Watching the men set off our very legal fireworks :)
