About Me
I am originally from Houston, TX and my husband Bobby is from Marshfield, MO. We met while working in UT at Radioshack (SOOOOO NERDY) when our managers set us up to go to a corporate meeting in Salt Lake together. We hit it off right away and haven't stopped talking since (well, Bobby says I haven't stopped talking since :)). We got married in July 2004, in the Houston, TX LDS Temple and had our perfect baby boy, Tyler, on Feb. 17, 2007. Our baby girl, Kylee, just arrived on Dec. 29, 2008 and we are thrilled that she is apart of our family! Bobby is working part time at Wells Fargo while finishing up with school at USU and I am LOVE, LOVE, LOVING working as a stay-at-home mother! Enjoy reading our blog!
I just got finished reading a Great Book-Snowflower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See- and I'm itching for another good read. Does anyone have any suggestions of a (or a few) really good book I should read?
Have you ever read The Alchemist? It's good and I have a copy you can borrow! Also have you read the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood? That's a great one! But my favorite book of all time is Gone With the Wind.
I received Twilight by Stephenie Meyer for my birthday, it was pretty good. I also like The Secret Lives of Bees. Sleeping With Your Gynecologist is REALLY funny, it isn't as dirty as it sounds.
That's all I did this summer is read for my master's class so I could recommend a bunch of good books to read. I definitely can recommend all three of Stephenie Meyer's books (did you know she graduated from BYU?) starting with Twilight. You won't be disappointed. The subject matter--vampires--turns people off sometimes, but you really need to give them a try. After you finish those, let me know if you still need more ideas!
I can also recommend Stephenie Meyer's books. I just got a call from Deseret Books to go and pick up the third one. I just finished reading David Balacci's Wish You Well and loved it. I also recommend When Love Walks In. I can't remember the name of the author, but you can find both books at Target.

I love Mary Higgins Clark- she's mystery. I'm addicted to her.
